Job Description

Computer Services and Telecommunications (CS&T) at UCF is seeking an experienced Applications Systems Analyst/Programmer to act as a lead on various projects related to the upgrade and creation of PeopleSoft applications.

Selected candidate will be proficient performing analytical and technical tasks and demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability and skills to design and develop for relational databases which include writing efficient and well performing SQL; develop, implement, maintain and enhance computer applications.
Successful candidate will have the ability to effectively communicate, prepare programming and user documentation, meet deadlines, and work in a collaborative environment.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and three years of information technology experience.

Additional Minimum Requirements

Preferred qualifications include knowledge of PeopleSoft 9.0 and PeopleTools 8.5x implementation. Knowledge supporting the PeopleSoft modules such as campus community, admissions, student records, HR, payroll, academic advisement, financial aid, student records. Experience and knowledge of object oriented design and development using PeopleCode, SQL, SQR, Application Engine, Component Interface, PeopleTools and Java toolset. Experience with Enterprise Portal and PeopleSoft Integration Technologies.

Special Conditions

This position is considered essential to University operations. This position must be available 24/7 in case of an emergency and may be asked to work during emergency situations possibly including early, late, weekend, holiday hours, and/or University closures such as during a hurricane.
