Job Description

Responsible for developing and executing events and programs that support alumni engagement.

Work with UCF Advancement leadership to develop and execute programming that achieves annual and long-term strategic plan goals for alumni participation.

Responsible for planning and implementation of major alumni donor events associated with the IGNITE campaign in Florida and across the country.

Responsible for planning and implementation of UCF Day at the Capitol event(s) associated with Knights Advocacy in Tallahassee, FL.

Orchestrate alumni-centric athletic events including, but not limited to, travel games and post-season competitions. Responsibilities for each event include conception, coordination and execution.

Responsible for the coordination and execution of Faculty and Staff campaign events in conjunction with the Annual Giving Team.

Responsible for the coordination and execution of the President’s Circle donor recognition event in conjunction with the Annual Giving Team.

Provide event logistical support for various annual events including UCF Homecoming activities, Feast on the 50 and the Volunteer Leadership Summit.

Work collaboratively with internal colleagues and external departments/units to help foster support for UCF Advancement and engage alumni donors and prospects through UCF Alumni Engagement and Annual Giving events and programs.

Implement programmatic initiatives to enhance engagement opportunities across the alumni external relations programs.

Responsible for event logistical support such as registration management, budget management, vendor management, volunteer and speaker management, customer support and the creation of program/presentation collateral.

Leverage UCF Advancement’s constituent database to track constituent engagement and perform post-event evaluations.

Safeguard the confidentiality of constituent and departmental information and comply with UCF Advancement’s data privacy and integrity standards.

Minimum Qualifications

Master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and four years of appropriate experience; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and six years of appropriate experience.

Additional Minimum Requirements
Preferences

Frequent nights and weekends. Able to travel, attend and conduct meetings on and off campus, and make presentations before large and small groups.
