Job Description

State title: Professional Engineer

A Device Integration Engineer translates designs to process flow defining the mask levels with emphasis on mask design and mask generation. As a part of the Advanced Technology Team at BRIDG, you will be working in an industry leading state-of-the-art manufacturing research facility focused on technology and process development in specialty imagers.

• Collaborate with process and design engineers to develop and verify design rules for various specialty technologies

• Provide physical design and layout of functional devices, process characterization monitors and lithography wafer fab align mark features to all design requirements.

• Aggregation of device, process characterization monitors and lithography wafer fab align marks to photomask chip frame and tape-out to photomask vendors.

• Apply knowledge of semiconductor processing and process integration to develop new technologies and to transfer new processes.

• Collaborate with leading industry and academic institutions and provide capability for proof of concept, custom development, and pilot production in various semiconductor technologies.

• Establish and maintain mask design standard cell libraries specific to every process technology at BRIDG.

• Other job duties as designed.

Minimum Qualifications

Master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience. May be required to be a Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Florida.

Additional Minimum Requirements

• Semiconductor Process and Technology Development.
• Success in multi-functional process and design teams.
• Understanding the challenges and opportunities facing multiple alternative technologies.
• Project management.
• Interfacing with and providing foundry services.
• Semiconductor layout and mask making experience.
• Experience with Cadence Virtuoso and Mentor Graphics Caliber layout and design rule checking tools.
