Job Description

Under the supervision of the Talent Acquisition Manager, this position will:
-Support the design, development, and implementation of a new applicant tracking and onboarding system that will increase operational efficiency, maintain compliance, and positively impact customer experience for candidates, HR Liaisons and other stakeholders
-Leverage knowledge and expertise in HR best practices and legal environment to collaborate and proactively contribute to the development, continuous improvement and implementation of policies, procedures, workflow, programs, and other HR initiatives
- Partner with HRIS and vendor through implementation, testing and troubleshooting, and training phases.
-Serve as additional support to the Talent Acquisition Consultants by ensuring the timely and accurate processing of USPS and A&P hiring actions and providing guidance to managers and supervisors involved in the hiring process. Resolve problems regarding job postings and the hiring proposals with departments. Assists in processing position vacancy announcements and job advertisements for posting on the UCF website, and on various other publications.

Minimum Qualifications

Master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and one years of appropriate experience; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and three years of appropriate experience.

Additional Minimum Requirements
Preferences

- 5+ years experience in recruiting, HR or operations; ATS and/or HRIS systems administrator/superuser level experience

-Previous experience with the implementation of a new applicant tracking system highly desired

-Previous experience in a decentralized human resources environment a plus

-Previous higher ed recruitment experience a plus.

Special Conditions

Anticipated duration for the project will be six to nine months.
