Job Description

Develops and implements yearly strategic fundraising plans in collaboration with the Assistant Vice President for Advancement, Corporate and Foundation Relations and works in coordination with the Executive Director of Limbitless Solutions Inc. This position identifies, cultivates, solicits and stewards major gifts in support of the strategic programs priorities for corporations and foundations and Limbitless Solutions Inc.

Limbitless Solutions Inc. is a groundbreaking UCF entity with the mission to: Empower confidence and increase accessibility with art infused prosthetics. Through innovative engineering research and disability empowerment technology, Limbitless is dedicated to providing children with 3-D printed limbs at an affordable cost.

Identifies, cultivates, solicits and stewards major gifts in support of the strategic programs priorities for corporations and foundations and Limbitless Solutions Inc.

Actively manages a major gift portfolio of six and seven figure gift prospects (corporations, foundations etc).

With support from the Prospect Research team, prioritizes and interprets alumni data to assure portfolios are populated with top prospects.

Identifies opportunities to generate new proposals based on corporate and foundation guidelines and interests and prepares targeted reports and in depth analysis on potential partners of UCF and Limbitless Solutions Inc.

Assists in the development and shaping of programmatic project ideas for funding consideration with internal and external constituents including assisting in the development of the project idea, establishing institutional support for
the project and identifying potential funding sources.

Actively engages in establishing long-term partnerships and strengthens existing relationships with the corporations , as well as other key communities, that will result in funding for the immediate and long-term goals of the university and Limbitless Solutions Inc.

Identifies emerging business leadership and industry trends with a special emphasis on developing high value-exchange corporate alliances and identify, evaluate, cultivate and solicit corporate commitments.

Works with specific companies and community agencies to interface academic programs, activities, and research with their specific needs and project requirements.

Provides support to the Corporate and Foundation Relations University wide strategic management committee.

Compiles, creates and writes proposals for different corporations and foundations on the university and Limbitless Solutions Inc.

Coordinates donor recognition and stewardship events in support of fund-raising goals.

Coordinates schedules and agendas for major gift prospect visits to campus.

Utilizes and maintains prospect tracking and contact reporting system through the Foundation’s database.

Prepares written proposals, in coordination with the Assistant Vice President of Corporate and Foundation Relations and the Executive Director of Limbitless Solutions Inc., and records all proposal activity in the database.

Prepares support documentation for gift acceptance in accordance with UCF Foundation accounting procedures. This includes the preparation of Gift and Pledge Agreements.

Provides support and develops strategic fundraising initiatives for Limbitless Solutions Inc.

Minimum Qualifications

Master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and four years of appropriate experience; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and six years of appropriate experience.

Ideal candidate should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and be a superb editor, with demonstrated service orientation and diplomacy; the ability to multi-task; be highly organized and detail-oriented.

Ability to synthesize complex sources of information and prepare proposals.

Demonstrates decisiveness and sound judgment in decision making and use of University resources.

Ideal candidate will be an inquisitive and entrepreneurial professional motivated by the opportunity to build a vision and strategy for industry relations and Limbitless Solutions Inc.

Some regional and national travel/overnight travel;

Experience in Microsoft Office programs and use of databases.
