Job Description

Create and maintain both internally and externally accessible web/database applications used by multiple units throughout the college. These applications range from internal record keeping applications, resource reservation forms to external event registration and STEM projects. Develop and maintain different Wordpress sites for various faculty research labs and department sites within the College.

Duties include the following:

  • Develop, maintain, test and support web-based applications including analysis, design, programming and integration of interactive web processes.
  • Create and modify databases and database queries to interface with web applications
  • Consult with users and departments to analyze and define business processes to develop effective enterprise computer programs and applications.
  • Provide recommendations for web application improvements.
  • Research and implement new web technologies and applications.
  • Ensure current security best practices are being employed to safeguard web-facing applications.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and one year of information technology experience.

Additional Minimum Requirements

Familiarity with current UCF security policy governing web access of university data.
