Job Description

This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service and provide general office operations. Makes room reservations, process travel reimbursements, and provides backup support for the Administrative Assistant. Provides phone coverage, screens and directs calls to appropriate staff; may coordinate staff schedules. Maintains professional discretion and confidentiality related to all administrative/student records and other information. Provides support and organization of the office environment including workroom, supplies, and resource materials. Maintains information bulletin boards, disseminates UCF materials and mail and assists with campus events. May perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

A high school diploma and four years of appropriate experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience. If minimum requirements of the position do not require post high school education, an applicant is not required to provide the information on the application.

Additional Minimum Requirements

Ability to work within a team environment; strong customer service and communication skills. Highly organized, detail oriented and excellent time management skills. Experience in a higher education environment. Proficient in computer applications skills to include MS Office, MS Outlook and PeopleSoft.
